Finding My Colour Again

Dear Diary,

I was watching the Hannah Montana 20 year special today, and it completely wrecked me in the best way possible. When Miley sang her new song "Younger Me," I just sat there looking around my apartment and had this massive realization. Literally everything I own is just so beige.

My twenties were completely taken over by that safe, minimalist aesthetic we all thought was so grown up and chic. But honestly? I am so tired of it.

Turning thirty has totally shifted something in my brain. Life is just way too short to live without color. Hearing that song made me think so much about the thirteen year old version of me. She used to cover absolutely everything in stickers and draw with the brightest gel pens she could find. She never cared if her art was perfectly curated or if the palette made sense to anyone else. She just wanted to have fun.

I think that is what My Little Neesh is truly going to be. It is basically my official breakup with beige. All the stationery and the journal spreads I am creating right now are my way of reconnecting with that inner child who just wants to play.

My absolute biggest dream is that this lil hobby becomes a super cozy and colorful corner of the internet. I just want to create things that give other people permission to grab their favorite stickers, make a huge mess, and be themselves again.

I will update you on how it goes. I am really excited to start this little store!
