Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information My Little Neesh ("I", "me", "my") collects when you visit mylittleneesh.com, shop with me, join the Snail Mail Club or sign up to my emails, and what I do with it. My Little Neesh is a small business run by Neesh, a sole trader based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia (ABN 44 129 079 905). The shop runs on Shopify.

What I collect

  • Contact and delivery details: your name, email, shipping and billing address, and phone number if you choose to give it.
  • Order details: what you buy, your subscription details, discount codes used, order notes (like gift messages) and your order history.
  • Payment details: payments are processed securely by Shopify and its payment providers. I never see or store your full card number.
  • Messages: anything you send me by email, the contact form or social media.
  • Website information: your device, browser, IP address and how you use the site, collected through cookies (see below).

How I use it

  • To process, pack and post your orders and club envelopes, and to manage your subscription.
  • To send order and shipping updates, and reply to your messages.
  • To send my newsletter and marketing emails, but only if you've signed up. You can unsubscribe any time using the link at the bottom of any email.
  • To understand how the site is used so I can improve it.
  • To prevent fraud and meet my legal and tax obligations.

Who I share it with

I only share your information with the services that help me run the shop:

  • Shopify, which hosts the store, processes payments and stores order data. See the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy.
  • Australia Post, to deliver your orders (your name and address go on your envelope or parcel).
  • Apps and services connected to the store that help with subscriptions, emails, shipping labels or analytics, and only for that purpose.
  • Government or legal authorities, if the law requires it.

I don't sell your personal information.

Some of these providers store data outside Australia (for example in the USA, Canada or Europe). By using the shop you understand your information may be handled overseas.

Cookies

Cookies are small files saved by your browser when you visit a website. My shop uses:

  • Essential cookies to keep your cart working, run checkout and keep the site secure. The site doesn't work without these.
  • Analytics cookies to see things like which pages are popular, so I can improve the shop.
  • Marketing cookies (only if marketing tools are switched on) that help measure ads and show you relevant content on other sites, such as Instagram, TikTok or Google.

Where the law requires it, you'll see a cookie banner to accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the shop (like your cart) may stop working. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, I'll treat it as a request to opt out of marketing cookies where required. You can also opt out of data sharing for advertising here.

Keeping your information safe

I only keep your information as long as I need it for your orders, subscription, and tax and legal records. No system is perfectly secure, but I use trusted providers and keep access to your details to myself.

Your choices and rights

You can ask me to:

  • see the personal information I hold about you,
  • correct it, or
  • delete it (I may need to keep some order records for tax purposes).

If you live in the UK or EU, you also have rights under the GDPR, including to object to or restrict how your information is used, and to withdraw consent. Some US states give similar rights. To make any request, email hello@mylittleneesh.com. You can also use the Shopify Privacy Portal.

Children

The shop isn't aimed at children under 16 and I don't knowingly collect their information. If you're a parent and think your child has given me their details, email me and I'll delete them.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, please email me first and I'll do my best to fix it. If you're still not happy, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) or your local data protection authority.

Changes

I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
